Redon Art Poster: Roger & Angelica 2 Poster
This is a quality reproduction of Odilon Redon's artwork "Roger and Angelica 2." Redon created three versions of "Roger and Angelica." This is the second, circa 1912. The artwork depicts a story told in the epic Renaissance poem "Orlando Furioso." In this poem Roger [Ruggiero] from sea serpents and dragons. It is a similar story to the Greek myth of Perseus and Andromeda, in which Perseus saves Andromeda from a monster that was about to devour her. ~ The story Roger and Angelica was also illustrated by Gustave Doré and painted by Ingres, Arnold Böcklin, and others.
This image has been professionally restored by us. It has been retouched where faded and colors have been enhanced. ~ "Roger and Angelica 2" is available as a poster or a canvas print. Framing is also available.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
