Red &White Painted Tip Dahlia’s Watercolor Holiday Card
On a trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia, I spent an afternoon at their gorgeous Public Gardens. It is a hidden gem right in the middle of the city and is full of some of the most amazing plants and flowers. I’m not sure what this particular Dahlia is called but I nick named is Painted Tip because it looks like someone to a paint brush and painted the tips of the flower. With this image I took the original photograph and turned it into a watercolor which gives it a different feel and representation of the original image.
