From a vintage print by George Barbier, one of the greatest French illustrators of the early 20th century. Barbier was at the forefront of his profession with commissions to design theater and ballet costumes, illustrate books, and produce haute couture fashion illustrations. For the next 20 years he led a group from the Ecole des Beaux Arts, nicknamed by Vogue, "The Knights of the Bracelet"—a tribute to their fashionable and flamboyant mannerisms and style of dress. Barbier did many illustrations for “The Gazette du Bon Ton”, a small but influential fashion magazine published in France from 1912 to 1925 which featured the latest developments in fashion, lifestyle and beauty during a period of revolutionary change in art and society.

Everyone loves a letter in the mail that’s not a bill and this certainly satisfied many! We have received the most wonderful feedback on the quality of these postcards. We opted for these so we didn’t need to extra cost of envelopes. Although delivery took a little longer than I expected, they were absolutely worth the wait! Perfect!
