It took me years, but I finally identified these beautiful red and white flowers as gladiolus cardinalis. This picture was taken at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens while we were on the city tour. Gladiolas provide a beautiful pop of colour to a summer garden if you can keep them from falling over! Check out our store for more summer garden floral photos. This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
