Rectangles and Triangles Geometric Abstract Canvas Print

A mosaic of geometric planes unfolds across the canvas, sharp and deliberate yet somehow lyrical. Rectangles and triangles interlock with slender vertical strips and subtle arcs, creating a rhythm of overlapping layers. The composition alternates between solid blocks and thinner slivers, producing a sense of constructed space that feels both architectural and musical. Colour drives the mood: warm pinks and corals sit beside deep navy and mid-tone blues, while soft gold and muted peach provide highlights that catch the eye. The gold areas read almost like metallic inlay, tracing curved paths that cut through the stricter orthogonal grid and introduce gentle motion. Light and shadow are suggested by the careful juxtaposition of lighter and darker tones, giving certain planes the illusion of receding while others pop forward. There’s a tension between order and playfulness — precise edges and right angles contrasted with sweeping arcs and staggered offsets. The overall effect is dynamic but balanced: the eye travels along diagonal routes, pauses on contrasting colour blocks, then is led onward by the warm gold lines. It feels like a city map abstracted into colour and form, or a piece of music translated into shapes — structured, vibrant, and quietly expressive.
