Reading Lines Alco Century C-630 #5308 is owned by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society. The Locomotive was Built by The American Locomotive Co.,(ALCO),in Schenectady, NY, September 1967. It is rated at 3000 Horsepower. The Alco Century Reading Lines Locomotive shown in excursion service, with A Big cloud of Alco Smoke, in Jim Thorp Pennsylvania, on The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. The former CNJ Railroad Station is in the background next to the Lehigh Gorge State Park. The railway is operated by The Reading Blue Mountain And Northern Railroad. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
