this lovely vintage artwork depicts the Raven. Was their ever such a bird as sparked the macabre imagination more than this ill omened and oft quoted and spoken of fowl? Edgar Alan Poe didnt think so and he was not the first as the legend of the raven is found in many cultures and is atributed with many supernatural powers. this particular bird is painstakingly drawn in black and white standing upon a rock.
