Rainbow Fish Postcard

As a result of their persecution and often times death, first century Christians developed a "symbol language" to identify one another. The fish, possibly based on the Gospel story of the loaves and the fish, is one such symbol. That which in English looks like the letter X, axtually represents the Greek letter that is pronounced Chi - similar to Christ. In this design the rainbow symbol has been added to the fish so to identify one'self as a gay, or a lesbian, Christian.
