This is an original photo of RMS Queen Elizabeth 2's last departure from New York. She is being followed out to see by her replacement, the Queen Mary 2. The lighting conditions was terrible, and I was on a moving boat taking a picture of moving objects. This photo has been highly stylised to resemble a painting when examined closely. It's the kind of image you stand back to look at. It's not the kind of image to study with a magnifying glass, like my pictures of the Hoboken docks. Nevertheless, Both ships are in view, along with a tug, a spraying fireboat, a helicopter and the Statue of Liberty.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
