Inspired by the book "Puffins Make Muffins" written by Loraine Gaskins, this mug has many meanings. Maybe it says, "I wanted muffins, but puffins are better." Or maybe "coffee is better." Or perhaps, "being with you is better." Fun fact: There are four species of puffins (Tufted Puffins, Horned Puffins, Atlantic Puffins, and Rhinoceros Auklets). This illustration of Atlantic Puffins (marine birds found in Canada, the US, the UK, France, Greenland, Iceland, Russia, Norway, Spain, and the Arctic) are characters from a book about a mother and son puffin baking muffins together.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
