Pro Life? Prove It - Ban Assault Weapons Bumper Sticker

Republicans have made "pro life" a big part of their platform, but apparently their interest in the sanctity of life stops at the foetus as their love affair with firearms takes precedence over the protection of children and the prevention of angry, mentally ill persons from owning semi-automatic weaponry typically used for warfare. If I can go into a gun shop and buy an assault rifle then why can't I also buy a bazooka? It's really nothing more than just a big gun, right? Wrong. It's a weapon of war, and assault rifles are designed for mass killing and nothing else. The line has to be drawn somewhere. Keep your handguns but ban assault rifles. They are not needed.
