Prima Ballerina; Rosita Mauri, aka The Star (c 1876/1877) by Edgar Degas is a vintage impressionist fine art portrait painting featuring the ballerina Rosita Mauri. She is on the stage and taking a bow after a performance. Rosita Mauri was a ballet teacher and a dancer, she was the daughter of a ballet master and choreographer. Rosita began her dancing career in 1865 and went on to became one of Europe’s principal ballerinas. About the artist: Edgar Degas (1834-1917) is regarded as one of the founders of Impressionism although he preferred realism and to be called a realist. Degas is especially identified with the subject of ballet dance, and over half his works depict dancers.

Loved how the invite turned out, but had trouble figuring out how to place the lines and size them. Didn't realize I had to do each line as a separate entity in order to change sized and colors and fonts. A little hard to understand. And when I called Zazzle it took forever to get anyone on the line. You guys are too busy. But, I loved the card stock and the colors and your invites choices. The colors and printing were lovely. Your work is nice. But, it is hard to figure out how to get it all together.

I wanted to do something special for my niece and nephew and take them on a holiday and I found these 'surprise destination boarding passes' which was perfect because they have never been on a plane before.
