A spirited fusion of 'whimsical' and 'gothic,' WHIMSIGOTH is a style chraacterised by mischief and drama. Decidedly more inviting (and modern) than its stark/dark counterpart, it's an intoxicating brew of all things frisky, brooding & lush. Playful patterns meet moody hues, rich florals merge with layered textures - it's a bag of contradictions that ought not work but instead forms an enchanting vibe with a macabre tickle. Designs featuring "The Precious" (a spooky, cute cat who has a tendency to pop up in various iterations across clothing & home goods) are rooted in the public domain artwork by Louis Wain entitled "A Cat in Gothic Style", circa 1925-1939.

I read a recommendation for this product for decoupaging on furniture and thought I’d give it a try. It lived up to the hype and turned out beautifully. The paper was of good quality and therefore very easy to use. The colours were vibrant and looked exactly like what it was meant to.
