(Hebrews 11:6, 2 Corinthians 4:6;5:21, John 1:1-3;3:16) (Romans 10:9-10; Acts 2:21, 4:12; John 3:16) Although the Bible doesn't have a specific prayer for salvation, The Word does include examples of prayers that express repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. * John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". 
 * Psalm 51: King David asks God for forgiveness and to wash away his sins. 
 * Romans 10:9: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved".  Here are the elements of a salvation prayer:  Expressing repentance for sins, Confessing faith in Jesus Christ, Asking Jesus to come into your heart, Asking Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour, Giving your life to Jesus, Asking for forgiveness of sins, Asking for a clean heart, Asking for a renewed spirit.
