POW MIA American Military Heroes Prisoners of War Ceramic Ball Christmas Ornament
In the midst of the Vietnam War, a nation yearned for answers. Families across America clung to hope, desperate for news of their loved ones missing in action. One woman, whose husband was a Navy pilot lost over the skies of Southeast Asia, felt a deep need for a symbol, a visual representation of the nation's commitment to the missing. - She envisioned a flag that would capture the essence of their plight, a flag that would serve as a constant reminder of their sacrifice. Working with a talented designer, she brought her vision to life. - The flag was born: a stark black field, a symbol of the darkness and uncertainty surrounding the missing. Against this sombre backdrop, a solitary white silhouette stood tall, representing the individual American serviceman, steadfast and resolute. - Encircling the figure, barbed wire coiled, a stark reminder of the captivity endured by prisoners of war. And looming overhead, a watchtower cast its shadow, a symbol of the constant surveillance and control exerted over those held captive. - The POW/MIA flag quickly became a powerful emblem of hope and remembrance. It flew high above government buildings, homes, and businesses, a testament to the nation's unwavering commitment to never forgetting those who had given their all. - Today, the POW/MIA flag continues to fly, a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by countless brave Americans. It serves as a beacon of hope for families who still yearn for answers, and a symbol of the nation's enduring gratitude to those who have served and sacrificed. - This work is in the public domain in the United States because it is a work prepared by an officer or employee of the United States Government as part of that person’s official duties

Personalised with a very special photo for my family members. Really happy with it. The photo used was old and slightly blurred but the print turned out extremely well. Zazzle emailed to inform me the photo may be pixilated but I chose to go ahead with printing as it was. I'm really glad I did.

The product is very very nice, but shipping was slow. It looks beautiful hanging on the tree. It should have been in a storage box for safekeeping. We lost our little kitty, and now she is on our tree. thank you for doing a nice job. everything was really nice. I do recommend this ornament.
