Art deco style poster of the famous ship that sailed from Southampton England on the 10th April 1912 to New York City on her maiden voyage. Tragically, she never reached her destination, having struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean five days later, resulting in the loss of approximately 1,500 lives out of an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew on board.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
