This piece was created after I felt like I had needed to make a painting that was direct from the heart. I lost myself in the noise of studying and harsh expectations that I had imposed on myself. This became an exercise in having fun and creating expressive work for myself.
The results couldn't have been more pleasing. While looking at this piece, I'm reminded to take a moment to quiet things down. Re-assess priorities. Ponder about what's over that horizon.
It's my hope that this piece makes a wonderful addition to your home, office, or room and inspires self-reflection like it did with me.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
