There is no tourist who visits Portugal who does not take home a rooster in their suitcase! Roosters are present in all kinds of souvenirs, keyrings, magnets, bags, towels, and t-shirts. In the Archaeological Museum of Barcelos there is a 14th-century granite cross alluding to this legend, representing the aforementioned “miracle”.
