National flag of Portugal The Portuguese flag is red and green in colour, with unevenly sized vertical bands and the Portuguese lesser coat of arms on top. The flag was adopted in 1911, and has a 2:3 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
