This poster is stunning. Painted 200 years after his death, this is by far one of the most accurate and realistic pictures of the magnificent Dominican priest, theologian, philosopher, Catholic saint, and educator: Thomas Aquinas. Although only 48 or 49 at the time of his death in 1274, he is widely acknowledged as one of, if not THE, most influential christian scholar to have ever lived. The poster was flawless; very well-packaged and undamaged, obviously done with great care. Proudly displayed on my living room wall, I finally have a perfect rendition of my hero. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
