I have always been fascinated by historical fashion, gypsies, fortune tellers, cowgirls and especially mermaids. A great portion of my artwork is devoted to one of those themes. Featured listing is of an altered art image of a mermaid. Orchids which grow in my backyard here on the island were photographed and then digitally added to the image for depth and colour. Multiple layers of images digitally enhance the beautifully romantic vintage image. I do hope you will enjoy this image as much as I enjoyed creating it especially for you.
