Pop Art ZX Spectrum

When the ZX Spectrum appeared in 1982, nobody could have predicted its phenomenal impact on home entertainment. Suddenly we could play a wide range of games in our own homes, swap games with friends, and crucially create them ourselves. Of course, most of us Eighties kids got little further than typing that we were great and then having the computer repeat this infinitely, but for some it was the gateway into successful careers in game development. Squishy keyboard aside, the Spectrum is a 1980's design classic deserving of the Pop Art treatment just as Marilyn Monroe was when created the design that we've pastiched here.
