Poem of Solitude

A solitary presence steps into the fading light of an ancient forest. A lone figure, draped in a flowing white cloak and hooded to conceal their face, stands with their back turned at the edge of a dense woodland. The trees are tall, slender, and dark, rising like pillars against a pale, sepia-toned sky that is thick with mist. A heavy fog obscures the forest floor and drifts between the trunks, softening the edges of the scene into an ethereal haze. The image evokes themes of absence and memory—the figure seems to be moving towards something lost or perhaps retreating from a fading past. The white cloak acts as a beacon in the gloom, suggesting presence where there is otherwise only silence. It feels like a moment suspended between reality and dream, capturing the quiet tension of being alone in a vast, mist-shrouded space.
