I started reading Poe when I was 8 years old. I preferred his writing to any other and I still do. This image was born out of a visual I got of his life and death. Out of control until finally drawn into the great swirling abyss ! Maybe not, but his was a very sad life. Cut short under mysterious circumstances and hounded by misfortune while alive.
