William Morris turned to nature for inspiration in his wallpaper designs, using the native field and garden flowers of the English countryside. This "Pink and Rose" design is chraacterised by features a repeating pattern that displays the beauty of nature. The original pattern was created circa 1890, and it was digitised by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
