Vintage Mother Goose Pig wearing Jacket and holding Top Hat - This is a sweet vintage piggy illustration from an old Mother Goose book published in 1917. The antique piggy is standing there, wearing proper vintage piggy boots and a beautiful blue pig suit jacket. The cute pig is holding his piggy top hat and his piggy umbrella. The antique pig image showcases Mr. Pig as quite a pig gentleman, and miles away from a typical farmyard pig. This is a proper little piggy. The Mother Goose pig nursery rhyme that accompanies the vintage pig image is one that suggests the pig will do very well, and is expected to vocalize wonderful grunts:

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
