Piet Mondrian Lozenge Composition Painting Poster

In 1921, the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian created the artwork "Lozenge Composition with Yellow, Black, Blue, Red, and Grey." Although Mondrian's abstract style may seem detached from nature, it was actually rooted in the landscapes of his native Holland. He started with naturalistic landscapes and gradually simplified the forms to their basic linear and coloured equivalents, aiming to convey unity and order.
