Pi - The Irrational Mathematical Constant Playing Cards

This black and white art piece, designed digitally, is released in commemoration of Pi Day, which is observed each year on March 14. The date 3.14 corresponds to the rounded value of π (pi), a well-recognised mathematical constant. The design features the value of the Pi constant in small font as a running hero in the background with the symbol in the foreground. Interesting to note is that π (pi) is an irrational number, meaning that its decimal form neither ends nor becomes repetitive. Note that the last line is the artwork is intentionally cut off to allude to the non-ending nature of this unique constant. π also is the sixteenth letter of the Greek alphabet. March 14 is also celebrated as International Day of Mathematics, which was designated as such by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) at their 40th General Conference in November 2019, to emphasize the importance of the mathematical sciences.
