Bought this as a Christmas gift. This is a great looking mouse pad, perfect for my son who is a physics major in college. When I opened the package, all I could smell is fish. I know that some rubber has this smell but it goes away quickly. I have been airing out this mouse pad for two weeks and the smell is still very strong. Guess I'll put it in a gift bag on Christmas Eve and hope for the best. The printing is great. Love all the fonts used for physics related words.
