Pharaonic Key Medallion Ring

A Pharaonic key medallion bearing on one side the image of Thutmose III, often referred to as the "Napoleon of Ancient Egypt", one of the most prominent and powerful pharaohs of the New Kingdom period, ruling from approximately 1479 to 1425 BC and famous for his military conquests that expanded the Egyptian Empire to its farthest territorial borders. The other side of the medallion is the Pharaonic eagle, which symbolises the goddess Nekhbet, who was the goddess of the eagle and represented Upper Egypt extending to Aswan. She was considered the protector of the pharaoh, as her outstretched wings always appeared as a sign of protection, as they referred to her at that time as the mother.
