Part of the glory of Peru is seeing the Peruvian children with their gorgeous eyes, enthusiastic attitude, and happiness despite their simple life. This close-up photograph is a Peruvian boy, a child from the Uros islands on Lake Titicaca, outside Puno Peru. He rides one of the reed boats used to greet tourists on this highest navigable lake in the world. There are also flat reed boats used by fishermen. The profile of his face shows his beautiful brown skin and sparkling eyes.
