About This Design

Perthro Rune Playing Cards

Perthro Rune Playing Cards

This is the Rune of Karma and is known as the Gambler's Rune. It represents luck, insight, divination, time, birth, synchronicity, cause & effect, evolution, secrecy, mystery and an awareness of the forces at work in your world. It is ruled by the Norns – the 3 Norse goddesses of destiny: Urd (Fate), Skuld (Being), and Verdandi (Necessity). Runes have been used since ancient times as a means of divination, to send messages, raise power and as spiritual tools. These symbols of a sacred alphabet are associated with Norse myth, Viking legends and Celtic culture.
