It seemed pretty stiff right out of the package, however, I'm sure that it will soften up after washing. I bought two of these for baby shower gifts and I love being able to personalize the front and back of this little jersey. You don't have to be a football fan to enjoy this and they come in a lovely variety of colors! I hope that the new mom-to-be and father-to-be will love these too! The printing came out just as it appeared during the online design process. No unpleasant surprises. Just what I expected. I'm very pleased with the result.
