In ancient times, Yule was a celebration of the winter solstice that lasted 12 days. It was known for its fantastic parties and extravagant revelry! Today, Yule simply means Christmas and tide means time. Yuletide, or Christmastide, is another way to say the season or days surrounding Christmas and/or the winter solstice. “Yuletide Blessings of Hope and Comfort” is an original illustration inspired by Victorian style design and the Art Nouveau Movement.
