Persian Carpet - Arabic art pattern, Emile Prisses d’Avennes, printed in the book La Decoration Arabe. (1885). This image is a photographic reproduction based on an antique is a richly detailed Persian rug with an intricate design. It features a bold, symmetrical pattern in the centre, utilising geometric and floral motifs. The dominant colours are deep red with accents of gold, blue, and green.
