Per Ardua Ad Astra Space Galaxy T-Shirt

Our t-shirt for space buffs features the magnificent spiral arms of the Messier 81 galaxy captured by the NASA Spitzer Space Telescope. Twelve million light years from Earth, the galaxy is located in the northern constellation of Ursa Major. We’ve teamed the NASA space image with the Latin motto per ardua ad astra - through hard work to the stars. ‘Ad astra’ is the Latin for ‘to the stars.’ Ardua can be translated as struggle, adversity, difficulties, endeavour or perseverance.
