Pennsylvania Railroad piggyback service Playing Cards

The Pennsylvania Railroad had an extensive network of piggyback, also known as trailer trains service. Most railroads who Embraced this type of service after deregulation allowed them to price it properly found it to be profitable. It took big trucks off the interstate highway system and allowed truck drivers to spend more time at home.
