This beautiful jigsaw puzzle features the stunning colours and architectural details of the Bronze Peacock Fountain and Rose Garden in Central Park in historic Winter Park, Florida. The fountain is a beautiful tribute to Elizabeth Buckley, a 13-year-old who died of an inoperable brain tumour on New Year's Eve in 2012. The Peacock Project was conceived by John Michael Thomas, a 15-year-old Eagle Scout who was Elizabeth's friend. Elizabeth loved peacocks and the downtown rose garden, and now her spirit lives on through this amazing display. The puzzle includes the text "Winter Park" in small print which may be deleted or edited for personalisation. Puzzle available in various sizes, and makes a great gift for teachers, students, children/grandchildren, the elderly, host/hostess, neighbours, Florida residents, and peacock collectors. I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
