Paul McGehee "SS "United States" at Sea" Card

A nautical note card by the award-winning artist Paul McGehee. This colourful scene "S.S. "United States at Sea" shows the famous superliner (affectionately known as "The Big Ship") coursing through the waves by the light of the setting sun. The "United States" was THE liner to ride back in the 1950's...movie stars, royalty, you name it, most were pictured on the decks of the "United States" at one time or another. Launched in 1952, she incredibly still holds the transatlantic speed record for a vessel of her type! "S.S. "United States" at Sea" is faithfully reproduced from McGehee's dramatic colour pencil original. Each card comes with envelope.
