A beautiful mug from award-winning artist Paul McGehee. "Moonlit Run" depicts the famous Wilson Line excursion steamboat "State of Delaware" passing the Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse on a moonlit evening in 1931. The "State of Delaware" was a familiar sight for years on the Delaware River, and in the early 1930's on the Chesapeake Bay out of Baltimore Harbour. "State of Delaware" was unique in its day: she had a full-size movie screen on her top deck! Imagine...sailing down the Chesapeake on this beautiful steamboat, gazing up at the stars, while watching the latest movie! "Moonlit Run" is a real piece of maritime history. Available in a variety of style and colour options.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
