Paul McGehee "Georgetown - Key Bridge" Card
A beautiful note card by the award-winning artist Paul McGehee. The Georgetown waterfront in Washington, DC, featuring the University and the Francis Scott Key Bridge. It was named for the composer of "The Star-Spangled Banner", which became our National Anthem. Key himself once lived in a house not far from the future site of this bridge, on what is now M Street and the banks of the C&O Canal. Key Bridge, completed in 1923, is Washington's oldest surviving bridge across the Potomac River. Each card comes with envelope.
