Paul Gauguin - Where Do We Come From? Notebook
Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? (D'où venons-nous ? Que sommes-nous ? Où allons-nous ?), painted in 1897-1898 in oil on burlap by French Post-Impressionist painter Paul Gauguin. It is his largest painting and is often regarded as his artistic testament. Read from right to left, its symbolic figures trace the human life cycle from a sleeping infant to an old woman nearing death, while an androgynous figure reaches for fruit near the centre.

This arrived So Much faster than I was expecting. I left plenty of time for international shipping and then didn't need it. I wasn't sure how the image would turn out (have never bought a notebook from Zazzle before). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the image.
