This Cubism landscape masterpiece titled, Trees by the Water is made by the famous painter, Paul Cezanne using watercolor on paper in 1900. At the age of ten Paul entered the Saint Joseph school in Aix. In 1852 Cézanne entered the Collège Bourbon , where he met and became friends with Émile Zola, who was in a less advanced class, as well as Baptistin Baille—three friends who would come to be known as les trois inséparables .
