National flag of Pakistan The Pakistani national flag has vertical bands in green and white, with a white crescent and five-pointed star. It is also known as Parcham-e-Sitara-o-Hilal (Flag of the Crescent and Star). It was adopted in 1947, and has a 2:3 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
