Our Lady of Guadalupe is a miraculous image of the Virgin Mary left Miraculously on Saint Juan Diegos Tilma in 1531, during the visions, apparitions and messages left as private revelations. It is located in Mexico City, the most visited Catholic Shrine in the world. Corpus Christi is the latin word for Body of Christ, referring to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. It is believed that in this image the Mother of God is with Child and for this reason the image is used in the Pro-Life Movement as an important symbol of life. This beautiful image is also known as the Mexican Virgin Mary. Pope John Paul II had a great devotion for Our Lady and a Statue was erected in his honour there. Today Our Lady of Guadalupe is known and venerated around the world as Our Lady of the Americas

I bought this fabric to make some homewares for a Citroen fanatic. Hit the spot perfectly. Quality base fabric and the car graphics are well done. Great printing, colours as I expected. I did not a border of unprinted fabric around the graphics which didn’t worry me but may affect some. The graphic does not spread from selvedge to selvedge.
