Our square pink ornament for the Third Week of Advent features an Advent wreath on the front atop a pattern of white diagonal stripes containing the word JOY. Joy is the theme of the week. A heartfelt sentiment appears on the back. + Front: The Advent wreath is made of evergreens and holly with two violet candles and a pink one being depicted as lit. Pink (or light rose) is the liturgical colour of joy for Gaudete Sunday. It signals a shift in mood from the solemn preparation of the first two weeks of Advent to the joyful anticipation of Christmas for the remaining two weeks.
