"Original Wasco County Courthouse, The Dalles, Oregon" by Catherine Sherman.
The original Wasco County, Oregon, courthouse was built in The Dalles in 1859, the same year that Oregon became a state.
The building served as a courthouse until until 1883 when a second, larger courthouse was built. The original courthouse became the city hall for The Dalles. In 1909 it was deemed too small to serve as a city hall, so it was moved to a new location where it became a rooming house.
It was threatened with destruction a couple of times, moved a few more times, and now hopefully is safe at its new location on West Second Place.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
