ORIGINAL 1215 Magna Carta British Library Tie

The Magna Carta (originally known as the Charter of Liberties) of 1215, written in iron gall ink on parchment in mediaeval Latin, using standard abbreviations of the period, authenticated with the Great Seal of King John. The original wax seal was lost over the centuries. This document is held at the British Library and is identified as "British Library Cotton MS Augustus II.106. This work is in the public domain in the United States, and those countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 100 years or less.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different! .
