About This Design

Built in 1679 by Thierry, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés organ has undergone many transformations most recently by Haerpfer-Erman in 1970-1973. The Great Organ case dates back to 1810, but the Positif case was added in 1973. The stark silver pipes in the wooden case make a super tie for an organist.
