Opinion in Brown v Board of Education 1951pg 1 & 2 Poster

August 31, 1951 Creator(s): U.S. District Court for the First (Topeka) Division of the District of Kansas. (06/09/1890 - ) Brown v. Board of Education, Implementation Decree; May 31, 1955; Records of the Supreme Court of the United States; Record Group 267; National Archives. In this milestone decision, the Supreme Court ruled that separating children in public schools on the basis of race was unconstitutional. It signalled the end of legalised racial segregation in the schools of the United States, overruling the "separate but equal" principle set forth in the 1896 Plessy v. Ferguson case. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
